If you engage us as your freight forwarder, we use your personal data to perform the contract, manage your shipments, handle customs clearance, and communicate with carriers, customs authorities, and other parties involved in the logistics chain.
To comply with legal obligations. Legal basis: Legal obligation. We are required to retain certain records for tax, accounting, and customs compliance purposes. This includes transaction records, customs declarations, and financial records. UK law requires us to retain these records for defined periods.

For international freight shipments, the transfer of shipper, consignee, and goods data to overseas customs authorities and logistics partners is inherent to the service and is necessary to perform the contract with you.
6. How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law.
Enquiry data (no contract formed). Contact details and enquiry information from quote requests that did not proceed to a contract are retained for up to 12 months, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
Client and shipment data. Data relating to freight forwarding contracts, shipments, and invoices is retained for 7 years from the date of the transaction in accordance with HMRC requirements for financial records. Customs records may be retained for up to 4 years as required by HMRC.
Website analytics data. Anonymised website analytics data is retained for up to 26 months.
Marketing communications. If you have opted in to receive marketing communications, we retain your contact details until you opt out or until 3 years of inactivity, whichever comes first.
7. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data.
Right of access. You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. We will respond to verified access requests within one month.
Right to rectification. You have the right to ask us to correct personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
Right to erasure. You have the right to ask us to delete your personal data in certain circumstances. This right does not apply where we are required to retain data by law, for example for tax or customs compliance.
Right to restrict processing. You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your data in certain circumstances, for example while you contest its accuracy.
